At Pelsung, challenges are not assigned upfront, they emerge through a structured journey. Participants begin by understanding Bhutan’s transformation priorities - its policies, systems, and opportunities. Through exposure to sectors such as tourism, climate, governance, and digital innovation, they identify gaps that require action. For Cohort 3, Pelsung is working closely with institutional partners to build capability while contributing directly to priority areas of national importance.

Gelephu Mindfulness City

Bhutan is building Gelephu Mindfulness City, the world’s Vajrayana Capital. GMC will host mindful businesses and people from all over the world.

In the past half-century, Bhutan grew from having the world’s lowest GDP to having one of the highest per-capita GDP levels in the region. Its next vision is more ambitious: to 10X GDP by 2050 (base year 2023).
