Innovate for GMC programme to engage 500 young Bhutanese

Bhutan launches a major youth-focused initiative as part of GMC vision.

A Nation-Wide Initiative

Bhutan is set to launch a major youth-focused initiative as part of the Gelephu Mindfulness City vision. The Pelsung – Innovate for GMC programme will engage approximately 500 young Bhutanese over the next three years, creating a pipeline of innovative thinkers and change-makers who will directly contribute to building the world's first mindfulness-centered city.

Programme Scale

  • 500+ participants over 3 years
  • Multiple cohorts of 100+ participants annually
  • 4 core challenge domains
  • 3-month intensive programs
  • Mentorship from industry leaders and government officials

Eligibility

The programme is open to Bhutanese citizens aged 18-35 with passion for innovation, sustainability, and community development. No specific educational background is required—what matters is your drive to learn, collaborate, and create meaningful solutions.

Impact Vision
